Hyde’s Mill

Hyde’s Mill, located near Ridgeway, is one of the most photographed mills in Wisconsin. It was built in 1850 by Ted Sawleon at the site of the original stone dam on Mill Creek. Hyde’s Mill is one of the few remaining mills with a wooden waterwheel. The mill, pond and dam are located in a serene and beautiful area surrounded by both prairie and lush woods.
